Our Football Academy offers transition year boys and girls the chance to experience a hybrid model, combining football and education. Here they will get to practice continuously with UEFA A & B licensed coaches and sports performance coaches with Masters in Performance Coaching. Pupils entering the Leaving Certificate programme on completion of the High Performance Academy Transition Year programme will be better equipped and more well rounded individuals than their counterparts who did not have the benefit of this year. Players in this program will benefit from the highest quality of coaching, instruction, world class facilities, resources, and opportunity to develop their skills, both on and off the pitch, helping them to bridge the gap with professional academies around the world.
TFA ELITE LIMERICK TY PROGRAMME
As part of the program, our Transition Year students will train as professional footballers and combine academic subjects like Math and English with football coaching courses offered by the FAI as well as modules in Sports Science, Sports Pyschology, video analysis, media / interviews, and personal development. On a weekly basis they will have access to areas such as Player Fitness Testing, Player Position Specific Training, Strength and Conditioning Training , Speed, Agility & Quickness Development sessions, Sports Science and Nutrition, Sports Psychology, Pool Bases Recovery Sessions, Weekly Coaching Reports and Feedback, Special Guest Talks, Preparations in soccer and education curriculum vital

9:00am - 3:00pm -Monday to Friday,
Football sessions, gym sessions,video analysis, recovery sessions, pool session & much more

Fully accredited education recognised under section 10 of the Education Act 1998. Maths & English in line with TY Curriculum Physical Education.
